The Friends of Farnham Church are hosting their fifth Christmas tree festival in St Mary’s in the village.
The event on Saturday December 18, from 11am to 4pm, will also feature music from Woodwind of Stortford, Nancy May, Andrew Bruce and the parish’s bellringers.
There will be more than 30 decorated trees, including a ‘memory tree’ and tags provided by Bishop’s Stortford-based funeral director Daniel Robinson & Sons for visitors to remember loved ones.
Father Christmas will be calling in with a sack of goodies for children between noon and 1pm, and there will be a range of refreshments available, including bacon rolls, burgers, home-made cakes, mulled wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
A Christmas fayre will feature gifts and there will also be a raffle.
One of the organisers, Maddy Willis, said: “Entrance is free but donations towards the cost of installing a toilet and servery will be welcome. Do pay us a visit, we’d love to see you there.”
