COLLEGE RODEO: Shippy, Ward have strong showings at Sul Ross rodeo

The Odessa College or university rodeo crew had a pair of cowboys make the brief-go at the NIRA Sul Ross College celebration Saturday in Alpine.

Ridge Ward experienced for the Saddle Bronc final and completed tied for seventh with seventy five factors.

Bull rider Riggin Shippy put with each other two strong rides, earning his place with a 71-issue marking in the very long go, then backing that up with a seventy eight-issue work in the final.

The 148 total on two head moved Shippy to 3rd for the celebration.
