Emily Andrea says no one ‘expected’ her to announce pregnancy at 24

Emily Andrea has revealed to her exclusive OK! column readers that none of her friends guessed she was pregnant aged 24, because she was “quite young”.

The 32 year old NHS doctor – who welcomed her first child in 2014 – said she managed to keep her pregnancy “in the dark” from everyone, so it came as quite a surprise for many that she and Peter Andre, 48, were expecting a baby.

“I think maybe no one guessed with me because I was quite young when I got pregnant with Millie, so no one was expecting it!” she shared.

Getting back to Skiing

We had the best half-term with the kids and went skiing in Bulgaria. It was lovely and it was the first time we’d been skiing in a few years, due to the pandemic.

It was a busy week, especially as it was all six of us. Usually I feel like I need a holiday to recover from a holiday but we actually had some time to relax on this one! We were really impressed by Bulgaria and can’t wait to go back.

One of my favourite days was when we went skiing in the morning and snowmobiling in the afternoon. We stopped for lunch in the woods and it was amazing. We ate traditional Bulgarian food cooked on an open fire. It was one of the nicest lunches I’ve ever had!

We were so happy that Theo really loved skiing, because the last time we went he was only three and he spent most of the time complaining, so to see him enjoy it so much was amazing.

He went to ski school for a couple of mornings but also skied with us all a few times. We were so impressed with Millie, she picked it up again so quickly considering it had been two years since she’d last skied. By the end of the holiday she was whizzing down the slopes!

Towards the end of the trip the whole family went up to the top of the mountain and skied the whole way down – the views were incredible.

We also had a lovely family meal for Valentine’s Day at the place we were staying in. Pete got me some flowers and two cards –
one was in Bulgarian, which he thought was hilarious!

Luckily, I was organised and remembered to buy him a card before we left the UK. Me and the kids also made little notes for him and hid them around the room, all saying things we love about him.

I wanted to get him something thoughtful as I always think that’s more meaningful. We always make an effort to make each other feel special, not just on Valentine’s Day.

Rihanna’s Cravings Giveaway

Singer Rihanna has revealed her friends guessed she was pregnant due to her cravings. She said: “I’m eating all the things I’m not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I’m all of a sudden asking for cookies and doughnuts.”

I don’t think any of my friends guessed I was pregnant and I managed to keep everyone in the dark until it was the right time to tell them. I think maybe no one guessed with me because I was quite young when I got pregnant with Millie, so no one was expecting it!

I was very lucky to crave healthy things in both of my pregnancies – carrots with Millie and mango with Theo.

I would get through bags and bags of carrots and endless pieces of fruit.

The Choices the Unjabbed Make

Tennis ace Novak Djokovic has said he won’t play at Wimbledon or the French Open this year if being vaccinated against Covid is a condition.

The reality for people who don’t want to get vaccinated is that it’s going to be increasingly difficult for them to do the things they want to do. This shows just how strongly Novak feels about the vaccine and how important it is to him to stick to his beliefs.

The reason I got vaccinated was to protect other people, not because I was worried about myself.

Everyone has their own view but for me it’s about doing the right thing not only for myself but for society as a whole. But ultimately, it’s Novak’s choice to not have a shot at these tournaments – and it doesn’t look like he will ever go back on his decision.
