The area Kid and Family System of Presbyterian Children’s Properties and Products and services (PCHAS) a short while ago obtained $30,000 in grants from regional foundations.

In Odessa and Midland, the PCHAS teaches parenting expertise, using powerful procedures to boost equally every day routines and healthful relationships.

The Henry Basis, which awarded $5,000 to the method, helps make grants to competent non-income, supporting social expert services, instruction, overall health expert services and other functions that modify lives. The Carl B. and Florence E. King Basis, centered in Dallas, awarded $twenty five,000. Its guiding rules contain compassion for the vulnerable and options to prosper.

PCHAS Regional Director Scott Waller suggests that these grants will aid families in crisis continue to be alongside one another. “Families could be coping with a divorce, health issues, poverty, violence or other problems,” he points out. “We try to offer long term homes for small children and boost self-sufficiency for families.”
