Fashion’s biggest night returns to the Big Apple.
It is fashion’s biggest night of the year. The Met Gala 2022 kicked off Tuesday, May 2 in New York City. The style extravaganza is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and features a star-studded red carpet event featuring Hollywood’s elite.
The 2022 Met Gala theme of “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” featured a the dress code of gilded-age fashion (think Netflix’s Bridgerton or PBS’s Downton Abbey attire) and white tie. Here are some of the A-listers, best dressed and a few Texas-based celebrities from Monday night’s event.
