US investor plans to sell 17 M&S stores

The financial commitment company is taking into consideration providing 17 M&S shops throughout the United kingdom for £70m, Property 7 days reported.

Fortress acquired 76 M&S shops from residence agency Topland Group in 2016, for £450m.

Most retailers are reportedly getting marketed on a freehold foundation, with genuine estate firms Colliers and HP Four instructed to seek consumers.

In March 2021, M&S revealed plans to downsize the number of retailers providing equally outfits and foodstuff by 30% to 180 retailers. In September, M&S explained it would near 11 franchise merchants in France.
