Emergency upgrade as new WCH planned

The Women’s and Children’s Hospital has been upgraded, ahead of an eventual new building being built on North Terrace.

Wellness and Wellbeing Minister Stephen Wade on Sunday declared the completion of phase a person of a $three.5 million paediatric crisis division up grade at the WCH.

It is portion of a $50 million sustainment job which will ensure SA youngsters go on to get superior high-quality care though the Federal government ideas to make a wholly new WCH, he claimed.

“We are dedicated to investing in infrastructure to superior help the health and fitness and wellbeing of youthful South Australians,” Mr Wade claimed.

The upgraded crisis division has an improved triage area, refurbished scientific help spots and larger ready spots. It will be concluded by mid-2020.
